UPDATE: Olathe Police identify victims in weekend double homicide

Police are looking for a gray F-150 pickup truck in connected to a double homicide that occurred Saturday morning. 

The Olathe Police Department identified the two victims killed in a weekend homicide in central Olathe. 

Angela Santiago, 45, and Jose Arellano-Rascon, 42, were shot and killed while sitting in a vehicle early Saturday morning. Both are from Tonganoxie, Kansas. 

The information shared with the public on social media by the OPD says officers were dispatched to the area of Fredrickson Street in the 1000 block after reports of gunshots before 1:30 a.m. Two individuals, a male and a female, “were pronounced deceased at the scene” after they were found in a vehicle. 

Olathe Police said the suspects were driving in a gray F-150 with a covered bed and tinted windows. They are looking for a group of four or five males.
